I finally got my 4.07r disk last week. The install went fine, no problems.
I tried to load my most often-used 3.3 template into 4.07, and everything
looked like it was going fine - the bottom part of the doc loaded, but as
it was trying to load the top part with my company logo and some other
stuff, PgS crashed with error 80000004. Every time I try to load this doc,
the same thing happens. It will still load fine in 3.3.

I tried some other docs I created in 3.3, and those load fine, so it has to
be something unique to this doc. After trying a few times, it appears to
be something with the master page. I've tried changing a few things to see
if that would help, but it still won't load.

Any help here would be appreciated. I can send the doc to someone if that
would be of any help.

Kind regards,
Billy

Experiments should be reproducible. They should all fail in the same
way.

Have you thought about exporting the various components, then starting a
new document in PgS4.0r7, then importing the components back to the new
document to see if that works?

That thought has crossed my mind, but I was hoping for an easier fix. It's
a pretty complicated doc and it would be very time consuming to save and
export the elements individually.

It started out as a 2.2 doc, made the transition successfully to 3.3, got
modified some, and now 4r7 chokes on it. Printing this doc is one of the
main reasons I use PageStream for the business.

I'll give the ex/import thing a try.

Regards,
Billy
