I only tried old documents before so I created a new document, a page with a few lines of text and a PICT logo.
When I tried 'Save as PDF' I got the same result as before, an error message 'PrGeneral failed at 2 with error 2'.
So I selected the PDF printer device in the chooser. It is 'PrintToPDF by James W. Walker'.
On selecting 'Print' the progress bar moves along a little way and then the system crashes.
I am also aware that 'Acrobat Distiller' can convert PGS PostScript to PDF. I have printed quite a complicated document to 'PostScript File' using PGS and then used 'Babinszki World - Net Distillery' to convert it to PDF. This works fine.
That is about as much as I can tell you.
Any ideas would be most welcome.
Many thanks,
Terence Casey
