That would mean you have a resolution of 1600x1200 on a 14" screen or so,
wouldn't it?

The display DPI setting is not only for setting the X:Y ratio, but also for
telling your apps what the 'real size' is. Because the application can check
your screen resolution, but not the physical size of your monitor.

Measure the horizontal and vertical size of your screen (the visible square
with all pixels in it, at your normal PageStream working resolution), and
divide these by your horizontal and vertical resolution. This will usually
give you a number around 70 or 80 dpi (or ppi, whatever). Once done, you can
verify it by viewing a page at 'real size' (one of the zoom options) and
holding an actual page in front of the monitor - they should match in size
and aspect ratio.

G'day Lamee Wouter,

On the subject of "RE: [PageStreamSupport] Another question", you spoke

What I did was set the zoom to 100%, and held a ruler up against the
screen next to PgS's horz. and vert. rulers, and adjusted screen X&Y DPIs
until they matched. For my 1280x1024 screenmode, I got 103x110 DPI.

Bye,
