I find that the PDF's (did I get that right this time?) from the
university will not run with the aPDF program... some tell me
that I need gzip to decode them first.... and I can't find a
reference to that on Aminet when I ran a search....

Any suggestions what I can do... short of using a MAC to
decrunch 'em!??

aPDF handles just about any PDF file pretty well. If you do find something that
does not display, contact Emmanuel Lesueur at lesueur@club-internet.fr (the
aPDF auther). He has been quite helpful in the past and definitely knows what
PDF is about.
