Hi,

I have some TTF fonts, but how do I use them with PageStream 4?

PGS doesn't seem to recognize them, so a step-to-step approach
how to convert them into something useful for PGS would be
appreciated.

Put them in a dir (softlogik/fonts/ttf)
Under system preferences, select fonts.
Add that dir.
Update it.

Hmmm... that was what I had done, and it didn't work. But it works now,
so I don't know what went wrong the first time. But thanks anyway ))

I have found that one must sometiemes perform several updates of a
font directory before a new font is properly recognized. One clue is
that the font is listed at the very top of the font list rather than
in its proper alphabetical position. Sometimes exiting PageStream
and restarting it will get the new font properly recognized. All very
mysterious.

Have you updated the font drawer for TT fonts? That is, in your
Projects/System Preferences/Fonts menu, click on the Add button, open
the file selector to display your TT fonts and click on OK.

You have to have the fonts listed in the file selector and click on OK
in order to update the drawer. You have to repeat this everytime you
change the contents of the drawer.

If you've done this, all I can say is it works for me.
