I recall something like this happening to me. All I can suggest is start
over.
If I may, do yourself a favor and upgrade to 3.4. It was the best software
investment I ever made. (I started with version 3.0 back in the days of
GEnie). Don't know if the secure site is still working but if it is you
may be able to download the files and run the new version today. I was so
happy to leave those a-i patches behind forever!
