I just thought I'd add my .02¢ worth on this. I also received email from several mail lists. I have folders and filters set up to receive all email from these lists. Once the email is filtered into their respective folders, I run that 'snipsubject.rexx' routine in the folders. The name of the list is still in the header information and I can readily see which folder I'm in in the 'folder list'
In the case of this mail list, the name in brackets certainly could be shortened to something like [PGSsupt]. That would still identify this list and allow more of the actual subject to be visible in the 'Subject' column for those using YAM at least. I see several people on this list do use YAM, so it would be of benefit to many here.
