I have a networked HP 4000N printer connected to our Amigas. Due to an error in HP's emulated PostScript, printing is always in printers default.
Changing PageStream 4/Print Setup/Screen has no effect.
Does anyone have a working PPD file or any other solution for this? My PPD is from my G4 Mac.
I know I can change Screen Lpi and angle for one picture in Line&Fill/Type (- not default)/Frequency and Angle.
Thanks. Eddie.

Hello all and sundry!

Does anyone know where I can get a printer driver for the AMIGA to use the
CANON BJC6500 raster printer?

Any help gratefully received.

Regards,

Volker Remuss came up with this solution for the LJ2100, which will
probably work for the 4000 series too:

This is also an issue for PC (and presumably Mac) users, whether they're
using PGS or something else. In Windows, you can can disable the so-called
"enhanced" screens from inside the printer's Postscript driver, but it's
kinda buried: Go to the Device Options tab, scroll down the Printer
Features list to the end, and change Levels of Gray to "Standard." There
may be something similar on the Mac, too.
