At various times over the last 2 years or so I have attempted to get both Pagestream 5 & 5Pro to work on my PC (Windows Vista) but without any success. All looks fine until I attempt to open a document produced on Pagestream 4 it will crash. If I attempt to start a new document the scroll bars give an indication that there is something further down the screen, if I scroll down it crashes.

Now I like pagestream 4, it is stable but there are features on 5/5Pro I would like to use but cannot due to this problem so I need help.

This comes up periodically on the list (and just recently, I believe). For more of an explanation check the archives, but a fix is to remove the PgS prefs file in your profile. I don't recall just where this is in Vista, but probably a hidden folder under c:\Users\<your user name>

In XP, it's in "C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application
Data\PageStream5" and it's called "PageStream5.ini."
