I just switched to a new computer running Windows 7 64 bit (I formerly had XP) I have the download running from a Flash Drive, but it does not install on the hard drive. The instant I entered the product key the program window opened, but no installation to the hard drive. I can run the program from flash drive, except of course, I can't access the Windows fonts. Obviously, I'm still doing something wrong. Don Castonia |

Hi Len, On Jul 27, 2012, at 6:10 PM, lenl wrote: > /I see the icon in the tool bar/ but nothing happens when I click on it, That means you do not have Python installed. Python is not included with PageStream, go tohttp://www.python.org (IIRC) and click the download link. There are multiple choices, but get Python 2, not Python 3. Download and install Python. Then when you start PageStream the script menu item will be available. Tim Doty > |

Hi Len, Did you run the Python installer? PgS is just copied to wherever you want it, but Python has to be installed. When selecting an installation directory letting it go with the default (something like C:\Python27) is best -- it should be in its own directory. After Python is installed you will need to restart PgS for it find Python. Tim Doty On Jul 27, 2012, at 7:35 PM, lenl wrote: > Hi Tim |
