Oops, not good at all Heiko and Bonnie! Heiko, I do not have any idea about "/libgnomeuimmxxx/". Heiko, this is one of the answers Bonnie send: > on my current visit to the pagestream main page: I hope this helps. Maybe it is a problem with 32 and 64 bit systems, and Theo - take care Op 20-9-2012 8:44, Dr. Heiko Pollmeier schreef:

I hope you get better soon! It looks like you are on Ubuntu so doing something like: > sudo apt-get install libgnomeui-0 from the command line should do the trick. I'm afraid I'm no good for GUI instructions on this: I don't use Ubuntu and on debian-derived distros I almost always use the command line for installing packages. What I recommend is doing > aptitude search libgnomeuimm (or the equivalent in your package manager of choice). On my (older) Kubuntu install I have libgnomeui-0 and libgnomeui-common installed, but not libgnomeuimm. Also from a command line you might try (after switching to the directory you have extracted PgS to) > export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:`pwd`/SoftLogik/lib This will result in a list of libraries PgS needs that it can't find. For example: > libSoftLogikDisp.so.1 => not found BTW, if you see my example of 'not good' then the 'export LD_LIBRARY_PATH…' command I gave you didn't work right. From this list you know what needs to be installed -- you can search for the package using aptitude or your manager of choice. Just specify the first part of the library name, not the whole thing. For example: search for 'libpango' not 'libpango-1.0.so.0'. The version number may or may not be specified depending on how you are searching. Given the way the Gnome crew and Canonical have been making gnome ***** there may be a package difference on Ubuntu 12.04. Unless you like what has been done to gnome on Ubuntu 12.04 you might want to consider Kubuntu 12.04 or Linux Mint. My dad just switched to Mint and likes it quite a bit.
