apparently some fonts (type1, open type) are not working in some applications following a MS update. My question is whether or not this affects PgS.

Okay Tim,

it took me a while to see which font is Open Type or Type 1 is. On
Windows 7!

Open Type: Arial(.TTF I guess) version 5.10 looks good.

Type 1 (Public domain): Pixel_Screen_font.pfm, LibbyScript.pfm looks good.

That was in Windows 7, and also in PGS 5.0.5.8 (Windows, of course).

I read this last week, and found no trouble. So I forgot all about it.
Until now. Smile

Theo

Hi Theo,

Okay, Arial is *true* type, not open type. But as the problem is supposed to affect both open type and type 1 that should cover it.

Thanks for checking.

Hi Tim!

When I double-click on the Arial font in my Fonts-folder, I read in the
Window: Arial (Open Type)
Then Name of font: Arial
Version: 5.10
OpenType classification, digitally signed, True Type Outlines (Well, I
translated this from Dutch, should be okay, but could be wrong somewhere).

So, I presume it is an Open Type.

Theo - still puzzled about the True Type Outlines...
