After reading your posts I tried running PageStream as Administrator and
it worked!! So the problem DEFINITELY has to do with permissions.

I tried changing the permissions on PageStream, and on the docs, but no
change. THEN I deleted my AppData\Roaming\PageStream folder for the
user (me), and replaced it with the one from my administrative logon,
and it WORKED! Waited a couple days, trying it off and on, before I
felt confident the problem had been solved, and am now thanking you for
your help. It was greatly appreciated.
