Recently purchased a new laptop with Windows 8 and MUST use PageStream daily.
However, first problem:
under windows 8 using either V4(latest) or V5(latest) there is absolutely no edit palette that I can either find or activate. Have shrunk the screen to show the page as about 1 pixel and still can't find it. Although I can add most of the necessities to the tool bar, I have grown fond of having the edit palette available. HELP!
Second problem: I have about 20 different programs I run and print through my HP PhotoSmart 7510. However, I cannot get any/either version of PageStream (V4 or V5) to print. I have to run my printouts using the PDFFactory Pro driver and it prints fine. However, anyone have a clue what needs to be tweaked to print directly through the printer device?
A third problem: though PageStream v4 is stable but cannot solve the above problems, V5 (latest) will, on occasion lose the screen. Nowhere to be seen. When this occurs, I have to go and delete/restore the .ini file which takes me back to square one for restoring prefs. Not a fun time with Windows 8.
Any assistance appreciated.

You're going to have to find your PageSream.ini file and delete it. Then
restart PageStream. I don't know where it is on Windows 8.
