Can't limit it to v4.x, let alone v4.0r9, so I guess I'd appreciate the "not
pretty but doable" parsing information. As you said earlier, the info's
probably in CMYK format, so info on converting CMYK to RGB would also be
appreciated.

It would be good, however, in v4.0r9, to have a GETCOLORLIST command, similar to
the GETFONTLIST command, that would give both the names and RGB/CMYK/HSV color
information in the .colors file.

And since I'm contributing to your "to do" list, how about commands to get the
current colors of objects & text (at least at the insertion point) to
supplement the ability to get the colors of the Grids and Guides?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Ron

OK. I've updated the developer section to include documentation on IFF DOC
(and related) formats. The IFF CTAG stuff is what you are looking for. If
anything is not clear, ask and I'll try and clarify (and possible update
the IFF DOC documentation Smile.

Dah. There is one. Actually two. GETCOLORS and GETSTYLETAGS COLOR. Doesn't
help with the color info, but it does get you the list of names.

I'm adding GETSTYLETAG and GETSTYLETAGDATA calls.
