hi.

i just uploaded the current version of MUIPictureCatalog to my
homepage. but i have a huge problem: this version (also the old
version) almost everytime crashes pagestream4 (4.0.8c) with a software
failue 80...04...

has someone else experienced this behaviour?
looks like a pgs4 arexx problem... i have no idea at all what may be
wrong! maybe we could track it down and give deron a hint.

Try putting these lines at the beginning of the script:

call open("STDERR","df0:trace2","W")
trace r

The floppy will probably need to be validated after the crash, but with
any luck there will be a trace file telling you how far it got before
crashing.

i know exactly how far it is getting

it either crashes at a "REFRESH WAIT" command or at a "PLACEGRAPHIC
...". that is why i think it is a pagestream problem

a simple "TRACE ALL" and start from shell works better.

please forget about this!!

today i reinstalled (well, i'm still not finished!) my workbench
partition. while it was in a clean, patch-free state i tried my
pagestream scripts again - and guess what? no single problem!

so my system is/was screwed up. let's see what exactly is/was the
culprit...

sorry to blame pagestream to have a bug
