Hi,

Deron, could you take a look at this? I don't have a full PGS installation
yet (no fonts setup and so on), but I don't think that's a excuse for the
next hit to be produced ad nauseum until I reboot:

First, folks please don't post enforcer hits to the list. I've _never_
gleaned any useful info from them, and I am 100% sure that no user has.
Just send them direct to me if you feel the need, but face it, a good
description of what you where doing goes a lot further.

Second, HHV uses the same font system as PageStream, so unless you have
your fonts setup in the file->system prefs->fonts requester for HHV, you
can't possibly display anything! Please set that up, and give it another try!

G'day Grasshopper Support,

On 12-Apr-01, on the subject of "[PageStreamAmigaBeta] Re: HHV 1.0d r1

Hmm, ok, then I guess that half MB enforcer file I sent you privately re:
HHV problems was useless :^/. I would be happy if you just said so to
me... Trying to help you in any way is fruitless if what is sent is
meaningless and you say nothing about it. Acknowledgement every now and
then goes a long way too.

In my case, as pointed out in the support list, I can not even save new
HHV fontprefs without the system crashing. Will try re-installing
previous version of HHV.

Zdravstvoytye Grasshopper,
In a message dated 11 Apr 01 you wrote to David Rey :

But, they pinpoint the exact causes of the hit. Even without debugging info
compiled in they're incredibly useful if you study the register/stack/code
dumps.

GS> and I am 100% sure that no user has.

Oh yes, they have. I'm sure I could write several case studies on it.

GS> Just send them direct to me if you feel the need, but face it, a good

True.

GS> you can't possibly display anything! Please set that up, and give it

Still no reason to randomly poke around memory.
