Hi, It seems that when I create a text box as an element of a master page (e.g., for some stationery that I created) the text box is then not editable or selectable on subsequent pages. Is this how things are supposed to work, or am I missing some dumb newbie thing? Wink Thanks, Steve Folberg

The masterpage is only for placing those objects that will not change
from page to page, such as the page number function, which appears to
change from page to page, but which is handled by PageStream itself,
meaning that *you* are not changing it. It is also for things like the
text you find at the top of the pages in a book, where they put the
name of the book or chapter at the top of every page. If you are
planning on putting in several pages of text, then you put those text
boxes on the actual pages, not the masterpage.

That is how it works! You need to create the text boxes on the actual page.
Content in a text frame on a masterpage is reproduced as is on every page
which that masterpage is displayed on.
