Hi, Everybody --

I recently posted to this list regarding the question of how to create an
editable text box on each page. (This is on PgS Amiga 3.4 b9.) I came to a
pretty elegant solution that I thought I'd share.

Since I'm creating thank you notes for baby gifts, each one with a certain
amount of "boiler plate" text in it, I created the text in PageLiner and
saved it. I then got the script recorder going (never used that before!),
drew out the text box, imported the text, placed the cursor where I wanted
it, and ended the recording. Voila! I named the script ThankYou and placed
it in the pulldown menu. Now, for each new note, which has the graphic
elements of the stationary on the master page, I just go to the next page,
run the script, and I'm rockin'. Kewl! Smile

Glad to see you exploring and make things work for you! There are numerous
ways to do things in PageStream, but the internal scripting is very
powerful and almost always helps out the mundane!
