Just wanted to drop everyone a note and explain my general slow, minimal
emails. Tuesday I finally got the Storm C package for the Amiga I've been
waiting for! So I am busy getting it up and going so I can compile and
release the Amiga 4.1 update.

Plus, I've fixed all kinds of little annoying problems in the Windows
version that have been around forever, plus I think I may at of taken a
good swing at the two mystery bugs that occur on some peoples machines. Of
course, since they don't occur here, not much I can do to prove they are
fixed, but I think I have answers. (FYI, that is the postscript upside down
bitmap bug, and the random crash/pref crash/screen corrupt problem some have).

I expect to finally get a newer 4.1 Windows version up this weekend, and if
all is ok with that, I'll release a newer 4.0 Windows as well.

For the Amiga, I expect to have something mid next week. I'll no more this
weekend. If I don't say anything, somebody ask Sunday Smile

Last but not least, I'll start cranking on the Mac compile after 4.1
Windows is up, and try and get it out about the same time as the Amiga.
Maybe a day or so later. I wanted to try and address a couple strange bugs
people have reported in older versions (shortcuts problem and extra blank
page when printing), but that will have to wait till the second release of
4.1 since I don't want anyone to wait any longer!

For all those who have reported good and bad news with 4.1 Windows, thanks!
Luckily, the feedback on 4.1 itself has been mostly positive, and the only
real problems have been simple ones. Since I had time assigned for bug
fixing with 4.1, this left me some extra time for old Windows bugs! I think
you will be pleased.

Also, I'm getting a new Windows computer next week. I've assembled a
computer which is least like my current main computer, so that hopefully it
will be able to identify any other problems that I couldn't reproduce before.

Hopefully you have enjoyed this message. I'm always torn between
personalizing this list to much (makes PageStream seem "quaint" and small
time) and to business like (which is hope others operate which leaves
customers wondering if anyone is actually behind the curtain").

Happy Holidays!
