Greetings!

Just finished installing the latest Amiga PageStream release.
Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing a problem that I observed under
the previous release... in fact I've dropped back to version 4.0.9
before the problem goes away. If you're wondering why I've waited
until now to mention anything, it's because I had so many changes on
my system that I couldn't point a finger at anything specific
(AmigaOS 3.9BB2 upgrade being the biggest). I did discover the
problem on my Amithlon system first but I have verified that the same
problem also exists on my real A4000/060ppc machine.

If someone could please check this out on their system and report
back the results, I sure would appreciate it. Unfortunately, you will
need the Borders package user manual -- and sadly, it's very
repeatable on my end.

STEP 1: Load the Borders user manual in PageStream
(PageStreamocuments/Borders.manual in my case). I get the font
substition window popping open first.

STEP 2: Accept the defaults in the font sub window by using the done
gadget. The first page loads and displays just fine. It's a 2 page
document.

STEP 3: Click the next page arrow gadget to go to page 2. Page 2
starts drawing and then a hard GURU strikes. It's reported as 80000004
(without debugging tools installed). I tried the jump to page gadget
and entered 2 only to be rewarded with the same results.

STEP 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, ...: Rinse, wash and repeat as often as you
like -- I always GURU

I suppose it's possible that my Borders.manual is corrupted but
remember that this problem doesn't exist under PageStream 4.0.9
where I have no problem displaying page 2!

I have also resaved my fonts prefs as an added measure but that makes
no difference.

Any input appreciated.

Ed,

I have no problems with the Border manual (downloaded from the secure
site) usine Amiga Pagestream 4.1.4.0, Workbench 3.9 BB2 on an A4000
with CyberstormII 060/50, Picasso IV.

As you think it may be a corrupt document try a fresh download.
