Greetings All...

I urgently need some answers to a number of problems I'm having with
PGStream v4.1.4.0 (Amiga) and HHV. Who do I contact?

It's obvious that Deron is far too busy to answer as he never answers
all the Q's asked in a mail, and those he does answer are incomplete
in their information.

So please let him stick to coding this great and powerful DTP program
and give me someone elses name to correspond with.

TIA.

Software suppliers are trying to make their software packages more
`User-Friendly'. Their best approach, so far, has been to take all
the old brochures and stamp the words `User-Friendly' on the cover

Depends on what you need. The PageStreamSupport list is the best for
general questions.

You have been asking how to get HHV to do something it was not really meant
to do. No one knows this info but me, so you have to wait till I figure out
how to get it to work for you as well. I believe I initially told you that
if you wanted something better than what HHV did, you should use another
browser and that you can configure PageStream Amiga to use a different
browser. Your gripe was that they are too slow (if I've confused you with
someone else, sorry!). So you can either have something fast but with a
small feature footprint, or something slow with the features you need.

HHV can be made to display the text in different point sizes and fonts, and
this is what works for me (as an example).

DEFAULTTEXTSIZE 14pt
DEFAULTH1 FONT Triumvirate-Normal
DEFAULTH2 FONT Triumvirate-Normal
DEFAULTH3 FONT Triumvirate-Normal
DEFAULTH4 FONT Triumvirate-Normal
DEFAULTH5 FONT Triumvirate-Normal
DEFAULTH6 FONT Triumvirate-Normal
DEFAULTPRE FONT Triumvirate-Normal
DEFAULTP FONT Triumvirate-Normal
DEFAULTUL FONT Triumvirate-Normal

Not sure what you are getting at here. Not all questions have an answer,
nor do I have answers for all the rest. For example printers. I don't have
every printer and can't offer help beyond the basics in that regards. I
also don't tend to answer repeating questions but every once in a while.
What good is the archives if people don't have to use them? Same for
questions asked that are covered in the manual. I'll give a hint, and let
the user figure it out from there.
