Hello.

OK, I'm not sure if it's ok to post bug-reports here. Like me
SmallCaps message. My point was that the manual says: "lower-case
letters ("est") are forced to upper-case letters ("EST")". Instead of
this the whole type gets smaller - but without a change in case.

If you want me not to post "bugs" tell me!!

In the other way there are three things I figured out in "Save as
PDF"...

1. If a line has an arrow on its end it is missed in the PDF-File

2. A gradient filled rectangle looses the gradient

3. A cropped image is always saved in one whole and big piece - uncropped.

I have attached two images to show what I mean.

I never would complain about PageStream. I'm just hoping this little
things are fixed in a further version...

Regards! Thomas

Well, as the developer I can assure you it is alright to post bugs here!

As far as the PDF issues, those are documented in the newest online help.
Hopefully future released of the display library we are working on will
address them.

Thanks!

Where can I read about bugs you alredy know? I think it's stupid to tell you things you already know.

But I have experienced another one. PageStream (4.1.5.6)crashes when I insert a "text mark name" or a "text mark page #". On an Amiga 4000, OS3.1 and on UAE with OS 3.5

Regards!
Thomas

I don't have a public list, and in the past have always declined to share
because of the poor impression it leaves (kind of like the joke about
Windows having tens of thousands of bugs when it shipped. Sounds bad but
truth is not nearly so glummy Smile

Anyway, if anyone out their knows how to set up bugzilla or some other bug
tracking site maybe it is time I did so.

Any chance this is with the german translation? At one time they had a
problem with the translation that causes a problem. The default language is
not set properly in the rsrc file.

G'day PageStream Support,

On 28/06/2003, on the subject of "[PageStreamAmigaBeta] Re: Save as PDF",
you spoke thus:

A /very/ good idea! Perhaps Olaf Barthel can point you in the right
direction?
