In what way was the text wrong? Did you import using "accurate"

Okay, but in what way is the text wrong? Are the wrong letters used? Is the
wrong font used? Are the letters put in the wrong place?

I have example (in attachments). To export text I use "editable" options,
but in both options it looks the same.

Okay, that looks to me like a font problem.

1. Does PageStream prompt for font substitution when it loads the PDF?
2. Do you have the font used by the PDF installed?
3. If so, can you use the font in a new document?
4. If so, does it display correctly?

Did You see in example.html? This is problem with encoding i think. There
are strange signs.

Yes Pagestream does.

not the same.

Yes I can

Yes in new document it display correctly.

I export to html little example text:
:;,1%*<=::>
in orginal it is:
08 Styczeń 2005

then
0 = :
8 = ;
space = #7
S = #1
t = #2
y = ,
c = 1
z = %
e = *
ń = <
2 = =
4 = >

And unfortunately the encoding is past what I deal with. I've mucked about
with type1 fonts and fixed glyph positions and names there, but that is a
*whole* different issue from the font encoding. Heck, I'm not even sure of
the right terminology.

Then I would not expect it to work right. It might be varying degrees of
"wrong" but without the correct font PgS just isn't going to be able to
properly display the text.

Clearly there is some encoding problem. Sorry, I can't help with that.

Hi,

I see your problem, but what I need is a PDF file that doesn't load into
PageStream properly. Without it, I can't tell what actually caused the
problem or fix it, just that the document didn't load right, but you know
that already Smile

Thanks!
