the person to ask is probably the author of AHI, I think he made a linux cross
compiler.

there should also be a windows version of vbcc with amiga target(s) (as is the vbcc name for cross-compilers)

yes and no, the orginal 'providers' are dead
geek gadgets is now available from (for instance)
http://gg.portail-e.com/geekgadgets/
(it has the same dir layout as geekgadgets)
one can also obtain some from back2roots.org (don't know how much they have of geekgadgets)

the future development of gcc on the amiga seem's to be located at
adtools at sourceforge.net (http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/adtools)
they haven't released anything sofar.
