I have not (yet!) purchased any PgSPro5s so I have downloaded PgS4Pro
(4.1.7.6) to give that a try.
I Unarchived it into its own directory and from CLI made the necessary
assigns to this directory. Currently I have PageStream:, PageStream3:,
PageStream4:and SoftLogik:. I then copied my prefs file across with only
my USER#? entries to get around having to redo the registration process.
I also changed the stack to 2000000 for good measure.
I started PgS from the CLI and the splash screen appeared and indicated
the various components were loading. The Toolbox down the LHS appeared
with its icons but the Toolbar did not. What looks like the Edit Palette
was opened, but the palette window had no content, it was only the width
of the window-depth gadget and a bit. The Navigator window never
appeared.
While the GR never opened I did record a crash on the serial terminal. I
started capture from the moment I started PgS until the crash. I hope it
helps.
If you have a debug version of PgS I'd be happy to give that a try and see
what it spits out.
