i found the following:

o. the "chose font" requester does not list fonts. i defined some
directories (ttrype and ps fonts)

o. the "replace fonts" window when loadinf a document does not list
any fonts

o. when a document is opened the "styles palette" flickers. it seems
to be updates quite regularly (several times a second)

o. in the "line and fill" requester i cannot chose the fill style -
where is it? (gradient and such ...)

o. selecting text does flicker the text extensively. also eating
processor time. seems also to be a refresh problem. if you try to open
e.g. the font requester then to replace the font it hardly works.

o. i started pgs5pro, opened the welcome document played a
little bit, closed it (well - hard without the buttons in the
requester ) and swtiched back to my workbench screen. i tried to
open my mail program now and got an error requester that i library is
not present ?! pgs seems to break smth in the library bases.

that's it so far.

when can we expect an update bringing a bit more useable gui? will
there be "patches" to reduce the download size (and - more
important - also the upload size for you)?

I still have to upload full versions for folks who didn't download the
previous I usually put up a mini version which is just the programs.
Just depends. Probably the next upload will be a full one because of a
bunch of changes that have happened.

I expect to have something in the next few days for all amiga platforms.
Just want to make sure I get the biggest problems squished.
