no problem here starting it. but it only opens on the defined mui
screen the first time started. when quiting and starting again it will
use the workbench instead!?

it always starts here without a hang.
(of course - upd3 - not a beta system)

the document loads here. but with the wrong fonts as the font
subtitusion requester does not work as you described.
but it loads and displays these files.

yep. opening the preference window takes very long.
and the layout is, well, call it "suboptimal" for now

correct. window refresh is better now - F10 does work. but scrolling
around with the mouse does not refresh anything.

I'll take a look at that. It could be that something doesn't get closed?

Can you tell me, does the file selector open on the proper screen now? (at
least for the first time when PageStream itself is on the right screen

Hmm. That should be some kind of memory hit. I don't know why else it would
take a long time for you. Any debugger output? I do see the buttons in the
bottom bar

as mentioned in another mail i believe that some ressources are not freed
properly. as after closing pagestream i cannot e.g. start my mail reader any
more.

no - it does not. always opens on workbench here.

sorry. i mean dragging the document view around. either by using the scroll
bars of the window or by using the middle mouse button. in both cases the
redraw is broken.
