Greetings All, Downloaded the file 'PageStream5.0.2.10pro.lha' at 20,915,981 bytes Hereafter, PageStream refers to "PageStream 5.0.2.10 Pro". Noted the following: BME: AmiDock: Screen Resolution: Opening the Flyer Example: Scroolbars: Toolbar, Toolbox, and Edit Palette: File -> Preferences -> View: Type -> Font...: Edit Palette: "File -> Save" and "File -> Save as..." : Also, on creating a 'junk' file -- just a line of text -- and saving On more than one occasion, a "File -> Save" caused PageStream to File -> Close: Size gadgets: Alignment: File -> Close: File -> New...: Layout -> Create Text Frames: Layout -> Link Text Frames: "Edit Copy" and "Edit -> Paste": File -> Insert Text...: Starting Up: Tried again with power to the modem turned off. Loading went fine UBoot started off nicely but at the point: Tried PageStream again from the AmiDock and received the same hang, Cold startup: Fonts: The "Welcome to 5.0.pgs" Example: So, if I just choose 'Done' in the "Font Substitution" window, i.e., PageStream is in its 18th year of development. That's incredible. Opening 'old' files: File -> Place Graphic...: Multitasking: Conclusion: Cheers Don (Green Dragon) |

Deron & Michael, > have you given pagestream a try on a clean os4 installation? An interesting suggestion you made to Larry here. I just tried booting from the update 3 CD. Because of the graphics I rebooted to my normal partition and tried 4 different screen modes, Now the only question is: What??? I'll have to try it with the original user-startup and see if anything Paul |
