hi.

i tried to use multiple columns like that:
- create a text frame
- insert text (lores ipsum)
- press the "fx" button for the text frame
- set 2 columns
- ok

--> you get a complete lock immediately and have to reboot.

the same happens when loading a document with multiple columns.

I have created docs using 2 columns per page, but it is dicey, and
in some instances a freeze-up can come very soon. Connecting the
columns -- so that text will flow from one to the next -- is weird
because the cursor don't change to the appropriate graphic.

I've loaded 2 column docs, and initially all went well. Seems I
could do quite a bit of fooling around, but it is SAVE and SAVE
AS... that are almost certain to bring a freeze here.
