As the topic sayes I'm wondering if anyone else has a guru that kills the system
when they start up Pagestream4.1.7.10? The guru is described in my 2 prevous
posts. I Though itmight be the new screensaver so removed it and nope not that.
I know that Pagestream uses MUI, is there a listing of MUI classes used by
Pagestream4? That's only other thing I could check. If not that it would be the
program.

no problem here.
i'd guess that a missing/wrong mui class may be the problem. did you
do a clean installation or an upgrade of os4?

try to let snoopdos run when starting.

another possibility may be the font prefs. try deleting the prefs
files.

Well I deleted all of MUI and reinstalled it and carefully copied the old ones over from
backup so as not to mess up the update 4 versions and deleted userprefs. and now
I get the reg screen enter usename password, it loads the options window, New,
Open Quit etc. I click New or open and the guru appears.
I also tried repalcing all of os4 updt4 muui with update 3 mui and the same
things happened. I'm going to try removing the screen blanker from wbstartu[p.

lcms is a color management library. Deron can answer this better than I, but
the failure to open is probably just an indication that the library isn't
there. For example, on linux or windows PgS tries to open a python library.
If that fails PgS still works, you just don't have python scripting.

It is not a problem. It is a color management library that if it doesn't
exist, PageStream uses the built in. It is not available on Amiga (yet?).
It may need to be compiled into SoftLogikDisp.library to work, as no true
library form exists yet for the Amiga. Not a big deal for now.

THanks. I reformatted my system partion and reinstalled os4 pre4 and
pagestream4.1.7.10 ppc works again. must have been something mucked in the first installation
