Friday, I sent the following email via new functionality in our web site.
It appears that most folks who should have gotten it never did. So
I'm posting it here to let you know about the changes to the web site. If
you did get that email from me with the subject PageStream Home Makeover,
could you let me know at sales@pagestream.org? It is hard to let you know
what is going on if I can't reach you

Since then, we have also added to the download file site md5 checksums.
This will not only let you know you got the file without error, but the
download file site won't let you see and download the file until it matches
the original file that we meant to upload. In the near future (assuming we
get get the emailing above worked out!) we hope to add the ability to
(optionally) email you when a new file is available that you are entitled
to download. Is this something you would be interested in?

Hello!

For the few thousand random visitors to our website this week, you probably
already know that our website is changing. As most know, we have always
excelled at producing the best page layout software possible, PageStream!
We strive to do equally as well sharing and supporting our jewel with the
rest of the world. You will also notice that we are slowly switching over
to using pagestream.org instead of grasshopperllc.com as our default
domain. Both have existed for some time, and both will continue to work, it
is just a change of what is listed on our web site and in our emails to
better show our emphasis. PageStream!

The first step in the transformation of our web site is creating a new
infrastructure that will allow customer tailored download and upgrade order
pages, customer notification of new updates, and dynamic customer
contributed documentation combining our old help, tips, feature lists and
product comparisons.

Customers will now need to create a new account with a username and
password of your choice. When you create your new account on this site, if
you use and verify the same email address that is already registered with
us, our site will automatically assign your PageStream registration numbers
to your new account. However, if your email has changed, you will simply
need to enter the registration numbers and product activation passwords.
Once a product\'s registration number is added to your account on this
site, all available downloads that you are entitled to will appear
automatically on the Downloads page.

If you are anxiously awaiting the new releases of PageStream for Mac OSX
and Amiga 68k, it is suggested that you take a moment this weekend to
create this new account and make sure that your registrations properly
appear in your account. Deron has begun uploads this evening, and you
won\'t want to miss out!

In the near future, new customers wishing to purchase a copy of PageStream
will need to first create a new account. Similarly, existing users wishing
to upgrade will need to have the registration number added to your new
account so the site can properly calculate your best upgrade discount. In
either case, once the order is completed you will have immediate access to
the new downloads. Until the new order system is up and running, we will
still have to enter your order in by hand, but if you provide your account
username in the order we will update your account quickly and you will be
able to download within a short period of time after ordering.

If you are having difficulties with this new system and need help, please
contact sales@pagestream.org and include your registration number(s) and
registered username for faster service.
