Hi, it's me again.

I found a problem in the latest PPC pro version: when I type a text, it stops to accept accented characters. Randomly, but very often. With every font.

Hi!

Can you check and make sure that the fonts you are using have the
character? Some of the fonts in the new Fonts archive I uploaded contain
only 7bit ascii. A few of the fonts don't even have lowercase!

What character are you trying to use? Can you see it in the Insert
Character dialog?

Lastly, what PPC pro version? PageStream 5.0 or 4.1? OS4, or MorphOS? (I
will assume not Linux since you posted to the AmigaBeta site Smile

Sure. In the old Pgs 4 it works OK

He he, I forgot: it doewn't show any character with any font! only a white window...

Sorry: the latest PageStream5.0.2.12.pro

I confirm: I don't get any accented character, like à é è etc...
But if I open a document prevously created with the old 68k version the characters are there. I can only not type them

How are you typing them? Using the Amiga's compose sequences? Or by using
PageStream's ctrl-d sequences?

(It's been too long so I don't remember the Amiga compose sequences, I think
it works by alt-f, e for an accented e, etc. In any case, that is what I mean
by the Amiga compose sequences.)

Ah!

Ok, not being able to type them is different than not being able to display
them. I'll take a look

I don't need that, as I type on a swiss-french keyboard. I simply hit the appropriate key

Ah hah! Then the problem is one of recognizing key codes. Deron should be able
to take it from there.
