Hi

I think I've found and tracked down the font sub problem. As the Amiga OS4
PPC and Amiga OS3 68k versions are all already uploaded, I'm going to
upload an .lha with the offending library (SoftLogikDisp.library).
Eventually I'll get the archives replaced, but I may just wait and see what
else I can fix and do a quick 5.0.3.2.

When the replacement gets uploaded, you should get an email notification.
Did anyone _not_ get an email notification for OS4-PPC or OS3-68K that you
should have? I think this is the first set of uploads that took place under
the new automatic notification. If you don't know about it, if you are
registered on the new web site you can set your email settings in My
Profile to notify you via email anytime a download appears that you are
entitled to download.

I have stopped the MOS upload and will rebuild those archives with the same
fix.

I'm pretty certain I didn't get an email on that. Could it be that you sent it to my mckinstr@dmmsw.org address. That's probably the address I gave when I made the order for 4.1pro and the upgrade to 5.0 pro. If so, that email doesn't appear to be working and I haven't had a chance to contact the provider yet.
I've gotten both PageStream5[1].0.2.12pro.lha and PageStream5[1].0.3.1pro.lha only by frequently checking your web site. I'll continue to do that.

That was quick. I see that the new SoftLogikDisp.library is already posted. I installed it and the fonts that require substitution are displayed clearly now.
However, the radio(radial, rotary?) button to the right of convert to is still garbaged until I resize the window. That's no biggy though.
Oh. This is the OS3-68K version.

same here on os4 (5 pro ppc)

the different text in the button (convert, display as) are printed
over each other. if you select it once it works.

Downloaded and installed pageStream 4.1.8.1a, installed it and I get a
Guru everytime I try to start it. I tried just using the downloaded
program with a fonts dir added and tried selective copying of the
archive over previous installation. the PageStream program in the new
archive causes the guru and there is no way out except kill.
Attached is the crash log.

Deron,

The notification system worked well. I got notices for the first
upload and now for the second round.

5.0.3.1Pro beta did the usual vertical toolbar and "little window"
routine I've had with all the PPC downloads under OS4. But the window
displays and gadgets in those two items look a litle more "OS4
correct" this time around.

I'll see what this replacement does before I send you any SnoopDOS
output
