Hello Deron,

I downloaded the latest beta of PageStream 5 Pro for AmigaOS 4 PPC
and it opened fine. This is the first time I have achieved that under
AmigaOS 4. Previously, it would lock as soon as the program was
certified with the password, etc.

However, I could not get the system prefs to run. Program Prefs run
fine. It opens on my Workbench screen while I would like it on its own
public screen.

When I tried to open Help, it asked to assign "pgs." Assigning it to
the PageStream5 directory ended with an error message stating the HHV
file could not be found.

Also, no fonts are entered in the font requester. How do I enter
fonts? Can I enter the whole system font directory? I think I better
read how to setup PageStream. It has been quite awhile since I setup
PageStream 4 so my memory is dim.

One last observation. I tried to copy the fonts that were omitted
from Update 4, the CG fonts, and they seem to now have a different name
in PageStream 4. Also, I could not find a bold, italics, etc., style
for those fonts. Any help appreciated.

Good work and thanks for sticking with the development. I am now
looking forward to a working PPC Pro version.

Hope all is well and that your AmigaOne is working fine.

Talk to you later.

Glad to hear it!

System->Screen doesn't do anything yet (does in next release).
System->Fonts should work for you.

See Michael Merkel's post (sorry if I got the spelling wrong!). Or wait
until the next release.

Hmm. As we no longer need an assign, I think the script will need some work
to get it to find the application.

If you look on our downloads page, you should see the PageStream fonts
archive. That will eventually be included in the full downloads, but it is
too much to include now. Just download that and decompress into
PageStream's Fonts folder.

Use System Prefs->Fonts. Then click Add and add each folder that was
included in the archive I mentioned above.

Thanks for the kind words!
