Starting PageStream5.0.3.3pro for Amiga68K with either icon or from the CLI results in a requester

with PostScript in the window title saying "WorkageStream5/SoftLogik/Printers/.rsc is missing."

Closing the requester with the OK button permits normal opening of PageStream5, when PageStream

is opened with the icon, but does nothing when PageStream is opened from the CLI.

Note that both Bitmap.rsc and PostScript.rsc are present in the indicated directory and are the same size as

with 5.0.3.1a.

Opening a new file from the PageStream Navigator results in the "untitled view-1" window being opened

and the requester "Software Failure" with the message

Program Failed (error #80000004)

Wait for disk activity to finish.

With the options to Suspend or to Reboot. Selecting Reboot acts like selecting Suspend. I have to CTRL-Amiga-Amiga

to reboot.

Opening a new file from the file menu works normally.

After typing into the document, the pgs file can be saved successfully.

Opening saved with PageStream5.0.3.3pro works using the file menu, but not the Navigator. However, window has to be

resized to get typing to show up.

Same requestor/message as for the new file, opened from the Navigator.

In this case reboot works, but the ToolManager bar along the bottom of the Workbench Screen doesn't show up and

a second reboot is required.

Most files I've tried that were created with PageStream4.1.5.6pro caused an immediate reboot of the system.

I've been unable to setup the printer or do any printing, presumably because of the supposedly missing .rsc file mentioned above.

I also have a similar problem with normal version (non pro) running
(..."running") on Amithlon.
And selecting, the text tool, Pagestream freezes. No response, no
refresh.
Actually, for me, Pagestream 5 is far to be productive. I cannot work
with it.

Hi all,

I've read the Snoopdos log I made when PGS5Pro crashed. It seems to
fail searching for SoftLogikRsrc.library, or LIBS:SoftLogikOS.library.

Any ideas?
