Hi folks,
If you have emailed me in the last week and wonder why you have not
heard back, I was in St. Louis to bury my wife's mother who passed away
on Sunday. It was a long, grueling 2000mile trip. Normally my wife
drives and I work but she ended up with a hurt neck/upper back and
couldn't hold the steering wheel plus had to take many breaks along the
way for her to get out and walk around. Luckily all the bad weather
missed us in front or back of us and we only had a few hours of
wet/snowy roads to drive on. The wind was another mater but not unbearable.

I tried to hookup at my step-son's internet but never could get the Mac
to get a connection. It would get an IP but couldn't get any further
than that. I did some scanning on his computer for serious emergencies
but reading lots of mail via a webmail interface sucks! But I could at
least program while sitting around and the young kids played video games
and sang karaoke.

I tried to stop at a few hotels and park outside to scarf a free wifi
hookup but it seems they have all caught on to that and now require a
password.

Anyway, I've got almost a 1000 emails to scan but I should have answered
any that need an answer by tomorrow.

Good to be home...

Deron
