Until yesterday afternoon, everyime I clicked on the object-selector icon in
the tool bar, a palette would appear on the screen. If I clicked the "A"
for text, I'd get a text palette.

I confess I would sometimes find the palettes slightly annoying and have to
move them off to the side or behind the work window, but I also had
frequent use for them.

Since yesterday I have launched and re-launched the latest PageStream5 for
Amiga over a dozen times, and no sign of any palettes. I miss them. How can
I get them back?

Only two possibilities.
1) You need to choose "Show Edit Palette" from the Windows menu (most
likely)
2) It is off the screen and need so be dragged back on screen. (least
likely)

Egads! This was it. I did look through Preferences to see if there was
anything like that, but had never really noticed a Windows menu. Yet it
seems I must have accidentally opened that menu and selected the "Hide Edit
Palette" without noticing it. Thanks.

I thought I was going to be able to finalize and print my flyer this morning
on 5.0.5.5, but it turns out the font problems are forcing me back to OS4.1
and 5.0.3.3 again after all. Maybe next month?
