"I have Lindows Smile it is debian linux, woody.
Do I have all the Gnome2 stuff I need?
I don't know, no instructions mention Gnome2.
I have downloaded some Gnome2 stuff from Lindows
do you know exactly what I need?
ken"

Hi ken,

I'm using Pagestream with Xandros - also based on Debian woody with
KDE as default (and only) desktop. You'll need the following:

"fortuantely I did found a backport of all GNOME 2.2 stuff via
apt-get.org (its kind of "freshmeat" for the debian world").

If anyone is also looking for the backport for Debian stable/woody add
the following server to your /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb
http://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/mirrors.evilgeniuses.org.uk/debian/backports/woody
gnome2.2/

If you'll download the libgnomeui-package it'll also download a whole
bunch of GNOME dependencies... Actually everything is running fine and
it won't break anything else in woody (from my experience with that
backport above)... "
