Hi,

Just wanted to let everyone know I put a new Linux version up today. Below
are the fixes and improvements highlights since the last release on the
11th. Just 16 items on my todo list, details in the archive. I encourage
Linux owners to download and report any troubles to me on the
PageStreamLinuxBeta mailing list. Thanks folks!

I am still looking for a user or users that are able to help with Python
scripting in PageStream. All I need is folks who know how to write basic
scripts to make sure I am following the "rules". Previous feedback from
discussions on the main list and a survey had pointed to Python as the best
multiplatform scripting language. However, I have a volunteer to help with
Perl so unless someone else can help I might take the number 2 choice for
scripting the choice Smile

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Window toolbar (with view scale, page number etc) should no longer change
layout as page/size changes, and is now a little smaller.
Fixed paragraph style window layout.
Put in check that should help users who can't save prefs properly
(Since I can't reproduce the problem, I can't be sure it is fixed, but the
problem seems the be different versions of c.lib.)
Help now displays, using default browser.
Double/Triple/Quadruple clicking now working.
Paths can now be selected with the folder browser.
Default paths defaulting to home.
Drag and Drop onto PageStream working for text.
Document window will properly reclaim focus if you select new font or size
etc in edit palette.
Copy/Paste seems to be working, but still can't paste in other applications
(Don't know why as we obviously can paste from other apps, and can
copy/paste within PageStream)
First implementation of context sensitive menus (text and object).
Don't get to worked up about the contents, it was just a quick copy of items.
Of course, any suggestions welcome as to contents at various times.
Text sample displays working now.
Fixed multiline strings display divided with /n
Improved CUPS print setup interaction.
Added font chooser (first item in type->font submenu).
Fixed inverted display of grayscale bitmaps. Documents are ok, just bad
display.
Fixed masked/clipped graphics.
