It just occurred to me lying in bed this morning, that this version won't
let you type in any keys that are in the object menu shortcuts. I noticed
the strange behavior last week and forgot all about it until this morning.

For some reason, gtk sucks up those keys, even though the menu items are
disabled. Getting them to display and gtk to ignore them could be a b*tch.
Anyway, the rest should still be fun to play with, but obviously not being
able to type half the letters of the alphabet could be trouble (or this
could be a false alarm, but I don't think so!)

Off to check in Linux...
