G´day

As previously reported I have been working on a Qtly newsletter of 4 x A4
pages. I create a PDF to send to the editor as we go along. I do this as
either a document of the 4 pages in PDF form or individual pages if it´s only
one page with major changes. I print to a postscript file. Then from my
networked Mac I run Acrobat Distiller to produce the PDF. I check it in
Acrobat for looks. As an aside, if I copy the ps file across the network it
won´t distill but works perfectly in situ across the network. Hints?

I haven´t had any problems with the A4 pages except for having to change fonts
several times because Distiller didn´t like the ps file from PGS.

The final PDF has to be imposed as 2 across 1 down for A3.

Now here´s the problem. The document distills OK and produces the PDF but for
one problem. On page one there are two pics. One has a stroke on its frame
and one doesn´t. The one without the stroke drops out altogether, the one
with the stroke ¨prints¨ the frame but not the content. Pictures on pp 2 & 4
appear OK. As an A4 page it shows the pics OK that´s why I didn´t have this
problem until now.

Testing with the previous issue (Amiga version) had no problem with pics.

I am desperate to finalise this job so any help will be much appreciated.
