Well most of the problems I was having with v 12 and/or v 11 have been fixed

Text wrap now works
Overset text mark now appears.
Invisibles now show
Cut and paste works (with some reservations)

Dropped out pics now showing.
Defaulting to Courier now fixed -- the correct fonts show in output.

Great work Deron, much progress has been made.

I went to test the problem with selecting a text frame but unearthed a new
one:-

Draw a text frame. It shows as unstroked but filled with white. Select it with
the object tool and call up the Line & Fill requestor. The requestor pops up
with the ¨Line¨ tab selected but the ¨filled¨ info showing. Click on the
¨Line¨ tab -- no response. Click on the ¨Fill¨ tab and then the ¨Line¨ tab
and it changes to the ¨Line¨ page where it shows as ¨stroked¨. You can´t
unselect the ¨Line¨ or ¨Filled¨ checkmarks which are pre-selected and when
you OK you now have a filled and stroked text frame.

Sorry if my terminology is not correct but I hope you can follow.

Visible deselection when clicking in the menu is partially fixed. Objects
don´t deselect but selected text still does.

Selecting fonts via type > choose now applies the font.

This has only been a very quick test as I haven´t had a lot of time since this
version was made available. Sorry!!
