converting text to path requires TextFX which is in the Pro version. I've used
it on linux and found it to be working. I just did it and when I switched to
the point editor tool the curve points were all available for editing.

I bought the Pro version, but didn't seem to get TextFX. Hmmmm....

The Amiga version didn't convert fonts to curves in the postscript (that would
be TextFX again).

I have TextFX on Amiga, so I guess I need to figure out why I didn't get TextFX with my Linux Pro version...

Its not separate, it should just be there. If you downloaded the 5 Pro it *is*
because you have the same program I do.
