Hi,

1. I am using SuSE 9.3 in 64 bit mode with AMD Athlon 64 and when I try to
start I receive the error:

/PageStream5Pro: error while loading shared libraries: liblinc.so.1: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory

2. I do have this library in the /opt/gnome/lib64 directory

chufarj@linux:/opt/gnome/lib64> l liblinc.so.1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 2005-07-16 01:16 liblinc.so.1 -> liblinc.so.1.0.0*

3. ldconfig -v shows

/opt/gnome/lib64:
...
liblinc.so.1 -> liblinc.so.1.0.0

4. Is there something else to do?

5. I am attempting to use version
PageStream5.0.1.37.pro

Thanks for any help.

John

This came up in February as well. Deron's response (in context) at the time

I would recommend contacting SuSE technical support about this. As far as I
have been able to determine liblinc is a part of Gnome used by/for Orbit.

Checking on my own system I see that I also have /opt/gnome/lib/liblinc.so ->
liblinc.so.1.0.0 so maybe you could try making a .so link as well?
