Recorded changes to 5.0.2.10:
+ Added new test feature Insert Formula to 5.0 Pro. This is a test bed for
future
formatting features including the ability to layout formulas and equations.
What is supposed
+ Text objects pasted inline into text nolonger cause preceding text on that
line to not display.
+ Fixed resizing (and other things) of compount objects in a group.
+ Hairline strokes are now drawn using same display as other strokes.
+ HTML import no longer mangles UTF-8 text data.
+ HTML import now supports FONT FACE= directives.
+ HTML import accepts extended entity names.
+ HTML export saves characters greater than 256 using # directive
+ Several memory leaks fixed.
+ PDF export no longer causes crash after completed. This was noted only a few
machines but all versions and platforms had the error.
+ For the first time ever, shape fill is no longer a "postscript only" feature!
Works to screen and non-postscript now.
+ Gradient/Radial patterned fills now display and print to non-postscript
properly (worked for postscript).
+ Font Prefs now saves up your changes and applies them when you select "Use"
or "Save". If you choose Cancel or hit the close button, no changes or
occur!
+ Borders now print to PostScript (well, it used to, but has been broken for
a while evidently)!
+ PostScript printer driver now supports the Duplex features of those printers
that support it.
+ Fonts in archives, or other single file collections, should now be supported
via the Font Paths Prefs.
+ Empty paths are now saved in Font Prefs where before they were simply lost.
+ Fixed weird interaction between arrows on lines and the next fill printed
to postscript.
+ TrueType fonts with illegal spaces in PostScript name are "fixed".
+ TrueType fonts are now fully reencoded to postscript.
+ TrueType fonts which lack proper PostScript character names are given
synthesized names.
+ TrueType fonts with minimal tables can now be printed to PostScript.
+ Extra large TrueType fonts can now be printed to PostScript.
+ Added support for new ligatures when they are present in a font and the font
is properly encoded to Unicode 4.1. Ligatures are ff, ffi, ffl,ft,st.
+ Added shift-control-d mnuemonics for unicode xfb00 to xfb06
(fi and fl were already there, but mapped to private space)

+ AMIGA: Old fonts converted to TrueType format. Should finally work Smile
+ AMIGA: SoftLogik.font included fixes errors in it alerted in OS4.0
+ AMIGA: Now includes new font MgOpen, which is a set of 16 fonts,
4 families x 4 styles. Another nice "open source" font to complement Vera!
+ AMIGA: Added the pref item "CREATEFILEICON ON" which will cause export of
documents, pictures, graphics, text etc to copy an icon from the drawer
SoftLogik/FileIcons to the same drawer as the new file. The original icon
should be named after the filter module that is creating the file, with a
.info extension (so IFFDOC.info for IFFDOC.dfilter, etc). This is now the
default behaviour and you must turn it off if you don't want it.
+ AMIGA: Added checkbox to Files Preferences for Amiga CREATEFILEICON.
+ LINUX: Several memory leaks fixed.
+ LINUX: Font names are restored to previous naming convention.
(ie, No Regular for non-italics, etc)
+ LINUX: Path selection now properly appends a /.
+ LINUX: Frameless labels showed in some cases framed.
(Improper support for NO_FRAME frames in some GTK themes, but worked
around.)
+ LINUX: External file watching now checks for failure.
+ LINUX: Fixed font path prefs scanning of paths.
+ LINUX: Restored font naming to what I hope is the old linux method.
+ LINUX: Potential crash when closing document fixed.
+ LINUX: Fixed GTK warning for font popups.
