When I rotate a picture (any bitmap) I get small dots in the picture
(background color) if I export to pdf or ps. Has anyone else experienced
this?

Using PGS Pro 2.10 with Mandriva 2006

I just tried and didn't see any issue. I used a couple of PNG images both
unrotated and rotated 90 degrees. The images were both black and white (not
true 1-bit, but scanned from b&w originals in grey scale). This was with Pgs
5.0.2.10.

Perhaps more info on your bitmaps? Are they jpg? 24-bit? 8-bit?

Can you send me a PageStream document that has this problem? Just a
document with the picture imbedded and rotated so that it creates a problem
in a PDF or PostScript file? Thanks. Just email it to me at

Hmmmm ...... it seems to be a display issue in KGhostview. If I convert a ps
file from PGS to a pdf file, and open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader, it looks
OK.
