As I told time ago I still have a print problem.
Printing a mail-merged document by pdf printer (cups-pdf) I obtain only
a blank page while the document should have 48 pages
Sometimes (but only sometimes) the multipage document has printed
correctly.
After printing (a wrong print), if I try to access print setup,
PageStream crashes.

Maybe I am doing something wrong.
How can I print a mail-merged document on a pdf file?

I am using Ubuntu 12.04

have you tried printing to the cups-pdf printer without using a mail merged document? it may be a cups problem if the crash still occurs.
have you tried "save as PDF" from within Pagestream? does that crash with your document? (this pdf would be minus the mail merge i think)

I have tried to print another type of document, 24 pages with text and
graphics, not mail merged.
After a big amount of time (minutes !) only the first page of the
document is in the pdf file. I selected all pages instead.

"Save as pdf" works very well. I always use that way to print.
But it does not work with mail-merged documents.
It prints only the first page. It prints correctly, but only the first
page.

I simply installed, time ago, cups-pdf using the Ubuntu packages manager
without any problem.
Other programs, i.e. LibreOffice, pcb, geda-gschem print by cups all
pages as expected.
PageStream cannot.

ok now at least i know the cups-pdf works on your system.

in the pagestream print dialog i am assuming you have the cups-pdf for the printer, now are you using the printer, postscript file, or eps file in the Send To: field in the printer setup dialog?
