Since the user has to "create text frames" on each launching of the
program, it seems that it would make sense to move the "create text
frames" selection to the top of the layout menu.

Regarding kerning observations in message #268 it seems that the
problem may only(!) be a display issue. (I can't test print). That
is,certain pairs display different kerning at different view levels.
Maybe its my display card?
