1.) Can't seem to apply a style change to a total document. I wanted to change
the font throughout a document
I can set up to do this and then say OK. Seems to do it but not all pages
are changed.

2.) Seems to be a general problem with how the keyboard shortcuts are defined.
You seem to indicate that a capital D,
that is a shift d is supposed to be DISTRIBUTE but what comes out is
DUPLICATE.

The ALIGN function shortcut comes out as a lowercase "a" not UPPERCASE as
it seems to indicate.

3.) When I try to insert a floating text frame I can put it in bnut I cannot
get it to accept any text. the cursor doesn't appear
inside the text box which I have defined.

If I just start typing onto a location of a page, without defining a text
box, text entry works fine.

It still prints! Although for a drawing consisting of 8 rows of 12 boxes with
some lettering took about 3 minutes.

Could you explain what your are doing? Are you using Find/Change
Attributes? Select All in a multi-page article?

Actually, the case doesn't matter A or a is align. So if you have caps lock
down, it doesn't matter. What does matter is if the shift key is down or not.

I just tried it, and shift-d is distribute, and d is duplicate. Does anyone
else have this problem? I suppose I need to know more information

What is a floating text frame? I can create text frames with the column
tool and layout->create text frames and they both allow me to enter text.
